During check-in, the card is not removed from the case and the check-in is performed by approaching the scanning unit at a distance of approximately 5 cm and motionlessly, without circling or waving, until an acoustic confirmation is sounded by the reader. As a rule, it is possible to leave the card stored e.g. in your wallet. The card must not bend, otherwise there is a risk of damage.

Card handling in the vehicle when boarding through all doors
- To pay an individual fare, the passenger only brings the card closer to the sensor and check-in takes place by deducting the fare according to the type of wallet (full or discounted, or after the transfer discounted transfer fee).
- If they transfer and mark boarding on the second connection with the card no later than at the 35th minute (50th minute after 7 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays) after boarding the first connection, the discounted fare according to the valid tariff is automatically deducted for this second journey
- If it only goes for 1 or 2 stops, it can take advantage of the discounted fare. The passenger proceeds upon boarding in the same way as during normal driving. However, when exiting, he brings the card closer to the sensor again and the difference between the full fare and the short-distance fare is returned to his wallet. This benefit is intended only for cardholders and cannot be used on express trains. It is best to mark the exit only after stopping the car at the stop.
- If the passenger holds a season ticket for only one zone and wants to go to another zone, he/she touches the card to any reader in the vehicle, zooms out the card, presses the "Surcharge for two zones" button on the touch screen and zooms in again on the card - the value of the surcharge for driving to the second zone is deducted
- The passenger can use his/her electronic wallet to pay the fare for up to 4 additional persons, and use the "Options for Fellow Passengers" button to select the purchase of additional tickets on the touch screen of any reader in the vehicle.
Card handling in the vehicle when boarding exclusively through the front door (on working days after 7 p.m., in zone II, on Saturdays and Sundays)
- The passenger checks in on the reading device at the front door, otherwise proceeds in the same way as at any other time of the day when boarding through all doors
If the passenger needs proof of payment of a single fare, he/she must enter through the front door, select "Print document" on the touch screen, bring the card closer to the sensor and remove the document from the printer (the document can only be issued for the cardholder).
At any time during the selection of the fare for fellow passengers, the selected presets for fellow passengers can be cancelled by pressing the "Cancellation of preferences" button. It is not possible to cancel a payment for a card holder that has already been deducted from the wallet.
Each cardholder can check the card status (validity of the season ticket, expiry of the entitlement to a discount, end of the card validity, balance of funds on the electronic wallet, time for transfer to the next connection to apply a discounted transfer fare and other data) on the screen of any reader at any time by pressing the "INFO" field on the touch screen and bringing the card closer to the sensor.
