Projects IROP 1, IROP 2 and ITI  2016-2018

On 21 January 2016, the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic announced the 20th round call, entitled "Low-emission and zero-emission vehicles", to submit applications for support from the Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP), specific objective 1.2 - Increasing the share of sustainable forms of transport. Dopravní podnik města Hradce Králové, a.s. prepared two fleet renewal projects due to the set rules of the call:

  • Project No. CZ.06.1.37/0.0/0.0/16_022/0001390 - Acquisition of emission-free vehicles for public transport purposes (hereinafter referred to as the "IROP 1 Project"),
  • CZ.06.1.37/0.0/0.0/16_022/0001388 - Acquisition of electric buses and trolleybuses with auxiliary drive for the purposes of public transport in Hradec Králové (hereinafter referred to as the "IROP 2 Project").

Project IROP 1

  • The project includes 15 electric buses,
  • The application was submitted on 13 June 2016 and the decision on the allocation of the subsidy was issued on 6 March 2017.

Project IROP 2

  • The project includes 5 electric buses and 3 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive,
  • The application was submitted on 13 June 2016 and the decision on the allocation of the subsidy was issued on 6 March 2017.

 

On 1 September 2016, the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic announced the 50th interim call, entitled "Sustainable Transport - ITI Integrated Projects", to submit applications for support from the Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP), specific objective 1.2 - Increasing the share of sustainable forms of transport. Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) are intended for implementation in the largest metropolitan areas of national importance – in this case it is the Hradecko-Pardubice agglomeration. Within this call, the Transport Company of Hradec Králové, a.s. has prepared a fleet renewal project - Acquisition of 6 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive for the purposes of public transport in Hradec Králové (hereinafter referred to as the "ITI Project").

ITI Project

  • The project includes 6 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive,
  • The project plan was submitted to the ITI Steering Committee on 31 October 2016, the ITI Steering Committee's statement on the compliance of the project plan with the ITI strategy was issued on 22 November 2016,
  • After signing the contract with the selected supplier, the Transport Company of Hradec Králové, a.s. will submit an application for subsidy funds in accordance with  the ITI rules - expected date of September 2017.

 

On the basis of the above-mentioned projects, the Transport Company of Hradec Králové, a.s. announced the following public contracts:

Delivery of electric buses and charging technologies in 2017 - 2018

  • delivery of 20 electric buses (15 within the IROP 1 project; 5 within  the IROP 2 project),
  • public tender announced on 21 March 2017,
  • due to additional questions from tenderers and the consequent obligation on the contracting authority to reasonably extend the deadline for submission of tenders, this deadline has been extended to 11 July 2017,
  • the 15-day period for filing objections to the decision on the selection of a supplier is currently running and the complete public procurement documentation is sent for inspection at CRR,
  • after the expiry of the deadline and approval of the documentation and the course of the public contract, a contract with the supplier will be signed - the expected date of August 2017,
  • Deliveries of vehicles will be in May 2018 (10 electric buses) and August 2018 (10 electric buses).

Delivery of trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive in 2018

  • delivery of 9 trolleybuses with auxiliary battery drive (3 units within the IROP 2 project; 6 units within  the ITI project),
  • public tender announced on 24 February 2017,
  • due to additional questions from tenderers and the consequent obligation on the contracting authority to reasonably extend the deadline for submission of tenders, this deadline has been extended to 19 July 2017,
  • Currently, the decision on the selection of the supplier is before signing and sending it to the selected supplier,
  • after the expiry of the 15-day period for filing objections against the decision on the selection of the supplier and the approval of the documentation and the course of the public contract by CRR, a contract with the supplier will be signed - the expected date of August 2017.
  • Deliveries of vehicles will be in June 2018 (3 trolleybuses - IROP 2) and August 2018 (6 trolleybuses - ITI).
