With this document, we provide you with information on how the company Dopravní podnik města Hradce Králové, a.s. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") obtains and processes your personal data in connection with the operation of the camera system.
When processing personal data, we are governed by legal regulations, in particular Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of the EU 2016/679 of 27.4.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the "EU Regulation"), which comes into effect on 25.5.2018.
This document will be updated periodically when the need arises for updating. The updated version of these Personal Data Protection Principles regarding the operation of the camera system (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") is effective upon publication on the www.dpmhk.cz website.
We protect your personal data to the maximum extent possible, which corresponds to the technical level of available means. The Company has strict internal rules determining which employees may have access to your personal data and to what extent they may process it, while access rights are narrowed down to the necessary minimum.
The Policy serves to inform the Company's employees and third parties that may be recorded by the Company's camera system about the conditions and reasons for which camera footage with recording takes place in the Company .
We encourage you to read this information carefully. We have done our best to make them as understandable as possible. If something is still not clear to you, we will be happy to explain any concept or passage to you. If you have any questions, please contact the contact person listed in section 1.2 below.
1.1 The administrator of the camera system is:

1.3 The Controller collects your data, disposes of it and is responsible for its proper and lawful processing. You may exercise your rights against the controller in the manner set out below.
The purpose of this Policy is to:
i. in relation to the data subject, processed fairly and lawfully and transparently – principle of lawfulness, fairness and transparency.
ii. collected for certain, explicit and legitimate purposes and may not be further processed in a way, which is incompatible with those purposes – the principle of purpose limitation.
iii. adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purpose, for which they are processed – the principle of data minimisation.
iv. stored in a form allowing identification of data subjects for no longer period, than is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed – the principle of storage limitation.
v. processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including their protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing by appropriate technical or organizational measures, and against accidental loss, destruction or damage – principle of integrity and confidentiality.
3.1 If you visit us at our headquarters or move around at the terminal in Hradec Králové, please note that selected areas used by our Company are monitored and in some cases recorded by a camera system, as further specified in this Policy.
These areas are visibly marked with a camera pictogram and supplemented with information required by the EU Regulation.
3.2 The purpose and reason for the establishment and operation of the Camera System (and thus also the purpose of processing personal data obtained through the Camera System) is:
4.1 The Company has taken appropriate measures to ensure that video surveillance does not inappropriately and disproportionately interfere with the private premises of the individuals concerned.
4.2 In connection with the Camera System, the Company carried out an internal legal analysis justifying the legality and adequacy of the use of the Camera System to the extent used and justifying the application of the so-called legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6 (1)(f) of the EU Regulation.
4.3 All operations of the authorized user with the Camera System recording system, including copying, modifying and deleting recordings, are logged (a record of the user's activity in the system is made).
4.4 Recordings made by the Camera System may, in accordance with the purpose set out in these Principles , be provided to law enforcement authorities, i.e. after detecting an incident that could meet the characteristics of criminal activity.
5.1 A camera system is an automatically operated permanent technical system enabling the acquisition and storage of video recordings from monitored places.
5.2 The camera system consists of camera circuits, with further specification being given in Article 6 of the Principles.
5.3 The camera system is operated in the premises specified in Article 6. Policy.
5.4 The camera system does not capture areas intended for purely private acts of persons (e.g. toilets, showers, changing rooms).
5.5 The camera system is not used for systematic surveillance of persons or surveillance contrary to the purposes set out in this Policy.
5.6 The monitored areas are individually specified in Article 6. Principles, and are always visibly marked with an information sign (hereinafter referred to as the "Table") located in the area of entry (or entry) to the individual monitored areas, and further in other suitable places in order to meet the information obligation.

6.1.3. On-line view of camera circuit A of the Camera system:
a) for cameras 1 – 8 and 17, it is displayed on a monitor at the gatehouse of the Company's registered office;
b) is displayed for cameras 9, 15, 18 and 19 on the control room monitor at the Company's headquarters.
c) for camera 10 – 14 is not displayed.
d) for camera 16 is not displayed.
6.1.4. The recording equipment of camera circuit A of the Camera System is:
a) for cameras 1 – 8 placed in a place inaccessible to the public at the gatehouse, in a locked cabinet and under constant security at the gatehouse.
b) for cameras 9 and 17 located in a publicly inaccessible place in the backup server room (the server room is without windows and the entrance to the room is locked) in the control room at the Company's headquarters under the constant supervision of dispatchers.
c) for camera 10 – 14 placed in a publicly inaccessible place in the cleaning hall (locked switching station) at the Company's headquarters.
d) for camera 16 placed in a locked cabinet in a locked control room.
6.1.5. Only the responsible person designated by the Company has access to the rooms and areas (cabinets) with the recording equipment of the camera circuit A of the Camera System.
6.1.6. The transmission cables of the Camera System are lined and stored in cable protectors.
