    Entitlement to a reduced fare is proven by a confirmation from the relevant school or a student card or ISIC card.

    The confirmation from the school claims the discount until 31 August (e.g. school year 2023/2024 = entitlement to discounted fare until 31.8.2024).

Paper tickets of CZK 20 and CZK 12 can be used at no extra charge until 31 May 2024!

 

How do the new fares work?

  • 10 minute ticket (non-transfer) 

    • You get on and attach the city card to the reader

    • If you mark the exit on the reader within 10 minutes of boarding by attaching the exit, you will be charged the price of a 10-minute ticket (time is calculated according to the timetable)  

The following example shows the stop schedule of line 2 from the HLAVNÍ NÁDRAŽÍ stop. The green box in the right-hand column shows the number of minutes of the journey to the next stops. Therefore, if you go from this stop and get off at the Magistrát města stop at the latest, when you present your card at the exit, your ticket will be changed from a 60-minute ticket to a 10-minute ticket..

Currently, this does not work for bank card. To use the 10-minute ticket, you need to choose a ticket when boarding by selecting another ticket. Finish the selection with the Confirm button. When the card is attached, the purchase will be made.
