Traditional colours, vertical stripes or a new, integrated concept of information signs. All this is part of the new design of Hradec Králové public transport vehicles. The transport company is thus taking the next step in the gradual introduction of a new visual style, which is linked to the city council and other municipal organisations, and its dominant symbol is the letter G with a crown. The first vehicles in the new design are expected to be delivered to the transport company in September 2026. They will be 32Tr and 33Tr trolleybuses with SOR bodywork.

 

The yellow, red and white paint on the bodywork remains. The same shades will also be retained. The design will thus be colour-coordinated with the rest of the existing fleet. Significant improvements in the communication of operational information and alerts are expected to be made with a new sticker system on the interior and exterior. The aim is better communication with passengers, less visual smog and more efficient transmission of important information.

 

The appearance of buses, trolleybuses and electric buses will be changed gradually. The transport company will maintain the design of the existing vehicles. The new visual style will always be applied to the new vehicles. An exception is the recently ordered Iveco hybrid buses, which fall under the existing framework contract. The manufacturer is expected to deliver a total of eight of them in the original paintwork by the end of 2025.

 

The project of the new uniform appearance of public transport vehicles was realized on the basis of an order from the city of Hradec Králové.
