I.
These operating rules bind the conditions for the use of self-service drop boxes
operator and is an integral part of each individual contract for the use of the self-service drop box.
The self-service lockers are designed for short-term storage of luggage without the operator's staff. Before using a drop box, the customer is obliged to familiarize himself with the contents of these operating rules, including the technical instructions for operating the locking and unlocking system of the drop boxes and the instructions for using the drop boxes, which are listed on the left side of the glass next to the drop boxes and on the operator's website, and to comply with them in full. By using the drop box, the customer agrees to these operating rules and voluntarily submits to them.
The storage boxes are only accessible when the Public Transport Terminal is open to the public, i.e. Monday - Friday 5:00 - 23:00, Saturday - Sunday 6:00 - 22:00.
II.
1. Only luggage which, by its size, weight and
the shape corresponds to the size of the storage box and its contents cannot cause damage to the
property of the operator or third parties.
2. The storage box does not function as a safety deposit box or safe and is not intended for storage
valuable items. The customer is fully responsible for the contents of the luggage stored in the hold.
3. It is forbidden to place the following items in the storage box:
a. precious metals and articles of precious metals, coins, precious stones, jewellery,
b. cash, credit cards, valuables, deposit books, personal and travel
documents, securities,
c. objects of artistic, historical or collector's value,
d. firearms, cutting and stabbing weapons, explosives, pyrotechnics, incendiary and volatile
substances, poisonous, corrosive or otherwise dangerous substances, narcotics and psychotropic substances,
e. food and other perishable material,
f. living and dead animals, biological tissues, anatomical parts, plants,
g. dirty or wet objects, objects that cause resistance, as well as objects that
may, by their nature or packaging, cause damage to health, the environment or
property of the operator or third parties.
4. The customer acknowledges and agrees that the operator, state authority or government agency is
is entitled to open the storage box or the luggage stored in it at any time for security reasons and for reasons of protection of life and health.
III.
1. The customer selects the size on the touch screen of the storage box assembly
storage box (XL, L, M or S) and the storage time in the storage box (12 hours). The customer will then enter his/her e-mail address or mobile phone number, to which a PIN code will be sent to open the box.Depending on the size of the storage box chosen by the customer, the customer will be shown a specific price for the use of the box. The customer is obliged to pay the price for the use of the drop box in advance by contactless credit card or by mobile phone.
2. The current price list of storage boxes of all sizes for all storage periods is shown directly on each set of storage boxes and also on the operator's website.
3. After paying the price for the use of the drop box, the customer will then open the specific box.
4. The storage period starts when the price for the use of the storage box is paid, the luggage is placed in the storage box and the storage box is closed. The storage period ends when the customer or the operator opens the box under the conditions specified in Article IV of these Operating Regulations.
5. The customer is entitled to enter the storage box paid for by him/her during the storage period, even repeatedly, without ending the selected storage period.
6. In the event that the customer fails to comply with the custody period selected and paid for by him, he is obliged to pay the price for the custody period corresponding to the price for the custody period in the given time zone (in the event of failure to comply with the custody period within 12 hours, the additional payment for each additional 12 hours according to the size and price of the specific box). Any additional charges for non-compliance with the storage period are payable before opening the box and collecting the luggage from it. The box cannot be opened without payment of the additional fee.
7. The longest possible custody period is 72 hours.
8. After collecting the luggage from the drop box, the customer is obliged to check that nothing has been left in the drop box and that the drop box has not been soiled or damaged. If the customer discovers that the operator's property has been damaged, he/she must immediately inform the operator of this fact by calling 725 766 145, Monday to Friday 8:00 - 19:00, Saturday - Sunday 12:00 - 22:00. At other times, call 495 089 227.
9. If the customer forgets the PIN code to open the drop box, it is necessary to
contact the operator at 725 766 145 Monday to Friday 8:00 - 19:00, Saturday - Sunday 12:00 - 22:00. At other times call 495 089 227.
10. When the storage box is opened by the operator's service technician, the customer is obliged to
prove your identity with a valid personal document with a photograph (ID card,
passport), describe the contents of the items stored in the drop box and then sign a receipt in which he/she undertakes to compensate the operator for any damage that may
arise from the release of luggage to an unauthorised person. The customer is obliged to pay the operator a fee of CZK 500 for the intervention of the service technician.
IV.
1. If the luggage is not collected by the customer within 72 hours after the expiry of the storage period from
of the storage box, the operator shall be entitled to open the storage box, including opening the luggage stored therein, to draw up a report on the contents of the storage box and to transport and store the contents in the operator's storage facilities, except for perishable items, which the operator shall be entitled to dispose of immediately and this fact shall be noted in the drawn up report. The customer is obliged to pay the operator a fee of CZK 500 for opening the storage box, transporting and storing the contents of the storage box in the operator's storage facilities.
2. The Customer is obliged to pay the Operator a fee of CZK 100 for each 24 hours of storage of items removed from the storage box and stored in the Operator's storage facilities.
3. The right to release stored items from the storage facilities of the operator is exercised by the customer at the operator at Nádražní 1704/4, 50002 Hradec Králové - Pražské Předměstí, Czech Republic, during business hours Monday to Friday 8:00 - 19:00, Saturday - Sunday 12:00 - 22:00. The stored items will be handed over to the customer by the operator after the customer proves his/her identity with a valid personal document with a photograph (ID card, passport), specifies
the items that have been deposited in the drop box and pay the operator the fees specified in this
operating rules.
4. The Operator shall store unclaimed baggage in the Operator's storage facilities for a maximum period of 30 days. After 30 days, the operator is entitled to dispose of the unclaimed baggage at the customer's expense. The Operator reserves the right to donate unclaimed baggage and its contents to a charitable organisation.
V.
1. The customer is liable to the operator for damage caused by improper handling of the storage box or its equipment, forcible opening, intentional damage, or by placing objects in the storage box that are prohibited from being placed in the storage box according to Article II of these operating rules.
2. The operator is liable to the customer for loss, damage or destruction of luggage stored in
the storage box only in cases where the locking mechanism of the storage box is found to be incorrect or insufficient, up to a maximum of 50,000,-
CZK. However, this liability does not apply to items that are prohibited from being placed in the drop box according to Article II of these Operating Regulations.
3. The Operator shall not be liable to the Customer for loss, damage or destruction of the baggage, or for its contents, in the case of items that are prohibited to be placed in the hold according to Article II. of these Operating Regulations, nor for unauthorised opening of the storage box by the customer who did not follow the prescribed procedure for closing the storage box and/or if the customer communicated the PIN code enabling the opening of the storage box to a third party.
5. The Operator accepts no liability for missed departures, departures, take-offs, loss of revenue, profit, market position, customers, reputation and opportunity. Nor shall the Operator be liable if it fails to meet its obligations to the customer due to force majeure.
6. Legal relations arising from the use of the operator's self-service drop boxes are governed by Czech law. Any disputes arising in connection with the use of the Operator's self-service drop boxes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Czech courts.
VI.
These Operating Rules shall come into force and effect on 25 May 2023
