As every year, on the eve of St. Nicholas' Day on 5 December, we are waiting to see whether our traditional guests - St. Nicholas, the angel and the devil - will arrive at the transport company. In order to attract them, we have prepared a festively decorated trolleybus for them. Hopefully they won't miss it from the sky! I believe that they will arrive in full force, so a route has been prepared for them, which will take them comfortably around the whole of Hradec.
The St Nicholas trolleybus will depart at 15:35 from the Alessandria stop and will run until 18:20 according to the timetable. The magical characters will stay at the stops Nový Hradec Králové, Terminal HD, Malšovice - U Čechů and at the final Alessandria stop for approximately 20 minutes. Children can prepare a poem, song or picture for St. Nicholas and the angel - they will surely be delighted and happy to reward them with a small gift. Of course, there will also be group photos.
The tradition of the St Nicholas Trolleybus has been maintained by the Hradec Králové Transport Company since 1990 (with a short break during the pandemic) - as the first transport company in the Czech Republic to introduce it more than three decades ago. Transportation by the St. Nicholas Trolley Bus is free of charge.
